Management Job Description

Emerald Housing Management property management position duties include collecting rent, preparing monthly reports, compliance of affordable housing regulations, lease and market vacant units, prepare applications, and supervise on-site personnel. Manager must have 3 years’ experience in the affordable housing industry and computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and property management software skills with Yardi or similar program. Benefits include health and life insurance, PTO and retirement plan. Pay based on experience level. 

Maintenance

Maintenance Technician Job Description

Emerald Housing Management maintenance technician duties include maintaining the daily repair and upkeep of the property, preparation of vacant units, keeping accurate inventory of supplies, availability to work on an on-call basis, and operate within OSHA standards and company policies. Maintenance technicians must have previous experience in apartment maintenance setting, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Must also have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Benefits include health and life insurance, PTO and retirement plan. Pay based on experience level.
